Scholarship Application Form: Use this form to let us know about any additional aid you’d like to request for your child. Feel free to share any details you feel would be relevant as we prepare to distribute potential scholarship money to individuals.
Red Wings Sign Up: Use this form to sign-up to work the concession stands at the Rochester Red Wings games. Please read through the instructions below prior to volunteering. As always, please email Ashlee with any questions!
Red Wings Volunteering Instructions:
1. PARKING
Parking is in Lot D, directly across the street from the front gate. The lot’s entrance is on Oak Street. Parking lot map is attached here.
Upon arrival, tell the parking attendant you are a volunteer from a service group working at a concessions stand.
Parking should cost you $0. Carpooling is encouraged!
2. WHAT TO WEAR
Black pants/shorts, and close-toed sneakers (non-slip is encouraged) No crocs.
A red polo or Rohrbach shirt will be provided for you at each game.
Hat or visor, which we will provide to you at each game.
3. ARRIVAL TIME
Your specific arrival time will be sent via confirmation email at least 1 week prior to the game/event. (This will be sent to Ms. Allaire, and she will forward it to you!)
Arrival time is generally around an hour prior to gates opening. Gates open generally 1 hour before the game starts. HOWEVER PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE ARRIVAL TIME LISTED IN THE WEEKLY CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
Please note upon arrival you will enter through the Main gate and the security will wand everyone who enters the park. All employees, staff, service groups and fans upon arrival bags will be checked and Security will wand everyone. Our bag policy is listed here.
4. DEPATURE TIME
Out times will vary and depend on the game. Please plan to stay until the end of the game. Weather permitting, games can be cancelled or delayed.
5. REQ SHEETS/BANK
Group leaders must collect fill out a req sheet at the end of the week (SUNDAY). The req sheet will tell the warehouse what is needed for the stand (more candy, more nachos etc). This is all located in the “clipboard room,” to the right of Ice Cream Plus (1st base side), located Next to the Pink Door.
6. AGE OF VOLUNTEERS
Minors (15, 16 & 17 years old) MUST sign Minor Wavier form upon arrival to their first shift & can operate a non-alcohol serving stand with at least 1 adult (who works the register). They CANNOT operate a stand or handle money; however, they CAN be a runner. No children are allowed to work under the age of 15, no exception. NO MINORS ARE ALLOWED TO BE PRESENT IN ROHRBACH STANDS WHATSOEVER.
18-year-olds and up are permitted to work in any stand serving alcohol and cashier.
